RootShield® Plus - WP

An OMRI listed and EPA registered preventative fungicide - RootShield Plus WP contains two species of beneficial fungi that deliver an extended range of disease control. The two species are:

• Trichoderma harzianum Rifa strain T-22
• Trichoderma virens strain G-41.

RootShield Plus WP grows onto plant roots, "shielding" plants from soil-borne diseases. This forms a physical barrier preventing root damage, while the fungi in RootShield Plus WP release enzymes that damage fungal pathogens. RootShield Plus is also available in a granular formulation.

REI: 0-hour, 4-hour when used as a dip or dust.

PHI: 0-day pre-harvest interval for all listed crops.

Suggested Uses: For prevention and control of major fungal pathogens and resultant diseases on greenhouse and nursery vegetables, herbs, ornamentals, fruits, conifer tree seedlings, various trees, legumes, oil seeds and peanuts. This product can be used in conjunction with certain fungicides. Refer to the product label and product compatibility sheet for details.

Instructions

Use at the time of planting or early in the growing season for best results. One application provides up to three months of control. RootShield Plus WP is for use in soil applications (soil drench, in-furrow spray, and chemigation), seed treatments, and cutting or bare-rooted transplant dips on food crops, ornamentals, landscape plants, and ornamental trees, including tree seedlings for transplanting into the forest. Refer to the RootShield Plus WP product label for application rates by crop type. RootShield Plus WP should be applied via ground applications only.

Storage: Store in original container. RootShield Plus WP can be refrigerated or frozen to extend shelf life.
